*On the Firing Line, Honing My Skills!

Rifle marksmanship skills, developed during "Hot Range" training is very necessary. We run a loaded, armed "Hot Range!' A person carrying an unloaded,"Cold" piece makes me very nervous! And people who are not dangerous, are sheep, who will go to their own slaughter! We train CQB skills, to gunmen. We train GUNMEN! Military/Police and Security personnel who walk around with an unloaded piece in a high stress/austere, and violent environment, cannot solve the problem posed by an armed assailant! And those high ranking military and police commanders, who are in management positions have no business training their personnel to get killed, by demanding that they walk around with an unloaded piece! We train victors, and dangerous personnel! We do not train personnel to be victims!

Defensive Rifle Marksmanship

This is just a sample of what we do. A photographer took the shot, just as I was getting ready to press the trigger. A pistol is necessary for close in work. But a pistol is only a tool of convenience. It allows me to get to my patrol rifle. A trained and accurate rifleman is truly dangerous! We train dangerous people. But we are also gentlemen. We are always courteous....but never friendly. We are always aware of our surroundings.

We do not teach survival or instinct shooting!

Let us dispell a myth here and now! There is no such thing as "Survival or Instinct Shooting." This is a common myth that is being taught today in the tactical community! To survive a shooting,and end up sucking liquid nourishment through a straw, while existing in a hospital, afterward........IS NOT SURVIVAL! it is merely existing, as a vegetable in a hospital ward. To stop six armed opponents, just to be taken out by the seventh threat whom you failed to see, is not survival!

Nor is there any such thing as "Instinct Shooting!"

There are only two instincts that a human being will exhibit, when confronted with an extremely high stress situation. And those two instincts are to RUN away from the trouble, and to COWER, protecting one's human body! Now this is not disengagement. We do teach disengagement, as a defensive technique. We do not go out, looking for situations in which to thrust ourselves! But we teach personal defensive tactics, for armed encounters, where there is no other way to terminate the threat, posed to ourselves and other innocent and peaceful people! Our work is all about people.

We teach personal protection for ourselves and other people, who exist in a deteriorating world situation today! What we teach is fighting, and worrior skills. We teach people to be prepared for the unexpected events, which are ever increasingly common in today's world. We teach the precepts of fundamental personal combat, and the combat mindset. We teach individuals how prepared and responsible people can harness the elements of victory, in their personal lives.

To those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and to those who are still paying the ultimate price for freedom in the world today, we pay homage and thank them for the lessons that they have imparted. Those lessons are taught by "The Personal Protection Group."
